Natalie Pearson's 'Lovin’ in the Fast Lane' was written over a zoom session during the pandemic.
Featuring actors Levi Dan Moore, Royden Davys-Pupuke, and special appearance by Jason Donnelly, Countrytown is elated to bring you the music video for Lovin’ in the Fast Lane by Queensland-based singer-songwriter, Natalie Pearson in this exclusive premiere.
Natalie says, “We wanted to write something with hope. Even when things seem to be feeling out of control, reckless and uncertain - lessons are learned, we adapt, grow, and take back the wheel.”
Equal parts effortless, yet exciting, Lovin in the Fast Lane is Natalie’s first single for the year and follows on from her well-received and feel-good cover release of Fleetwood Mac’s Everywhere.
Before that, she released a string of singles including Plan B, Strong Man, You’ll Never Walk Alone, Let ‘Em Talk, Mr. Wrong and the feel-good duet I Wonder What You Kiss Like with Brook Chivell. Natalie released the albums Long Time Coming in 2017 and Under The Covers in 2016.
No stranger to the stage, Natalie started singing and dancing lessons as a child, and later, performing in youth groups, choirs and children’s variety shows. Taking inspiration from popular crossover pop-country artists at the time like Shania Twain, LeAnn Rimes and Faith Hill, Natalie began writing her own music in her late teens and performing in cover bands.
