'Iconic' is out now!
Countrytown is elated to bring you the accompanying music video for rising country artist, Hudson Rose’s catchy new single, Iconic in this exclusive premiere. It's our Song of the Day!
Written by Hudson with fellow country artists Natalie Pearson and Brook Chivell as well as Michael Paynter and Michael Delorenzis, the producers behind MSquared Productions, Iconic captures the essence of an ultimate love story and all the fun that goes with it.
Hudson says, “The chorus of Iconic was inspired by the feeling of a first kiss. The way your heart explodes a little and there are butterflies in your stomach. I hope this song reminds you what it feels like to be in love.”
The accompanying music video captures that joyous feeling of young love. Created by the team at Tommirock in Newcastle, the fun music video sees Hudson in a retro-style diner.
Hailing from NSW’s mid north coast, Hudson was given her first guitar for Christmas in 2016, a mini Maton, and just three weeks later, she set off for the Tamworth Country Music Festival. It was at this festival, combined with a trip to see Keith Urban in concert, that she was hooked and set herself a dream of becoming a country music artist.
She went on to impress judges at the 2019 Tamworth Country Music Festival’s busking competition, where she was chosen out of hundreds to perform on the festival’s main stage as part of their Top 10. Hudson returned the following year, to perform across various venues and gained a supporting slot for Homegrown, as well as performing with Amber Lawrence.
