2023 is shaping up to be a special one for Taylor Moss, with her consecutive top 10 Airplay hits across several releases securing her a 2023 Golden Guitar nomination for ‘New Talent Of The Year’.

In recent weeks she received an APRA Award nomination for ‘Most Performed Country Work’ for her #1 Airplay hit, Get It Girl and her first Queensland Music Award nomination in the ‘Country’ category for her additional airplay triumph, What Am I Gonna Do?, which reached #5 on the charts. She also made her national television debut on the reality television series, Farmer Wants A Wife last month.

Born in Ulladulla NSW, Moss started entering local talent contests as a child. She made her first recording at age 15 in AC/DC’s Sydney studio. After moving to Noosa QLD, she got her break at Urban Country Music Festival 2012, winning their talent quest and made finalist at Tamworth’s 2015 Toyota Star Maker competition. Supports with Jimmy Barnes followed along with further shows at Tamworth and Gympie Muster.

Her latest single, Country Proud, is a foot-stomping anthem that celebrates the simple joys of life in the countryside. Produced by the MSquared duo, Michael Delorenzis and Michael Paynter, Country Proud invites you to don your denim jeans, grab your boots and boot-scoot to the beat!

1. Seaforth & Sean Kingston – Queen Of Daytona Beach

My oh my, are these boys just so incredibly talented! Every song they put out is a total earworm. I love them! Catchy, punchy, well written and it connects with diverse audiences all over the globe. What I really love about these boys is that you can tell how driven and ambitious they are! Aussie boys representing Australian artists in Nashville!

2. Melanie Dyer – Song For That

The country pop queen Mel, she can write a song... and she’s written a song for that! We all have a song we’ve driven crying to with a broken heart or a song that just reminds us of a really special moment in our lives. I love that Mel just continues to release bangers and once again, earworms. I love them clearly!

3. The Wolfe Brothers – Here’s To The Ones

We all know I love a song about the incredible women in our lives and this song is BEAUTIFUL. It’s a song for the mothers, the sisters, the full-time working mums who bring joy to everyone’s life. The boy’s songwriting and ability to connect is out of this world. They are the real deal and I totally look up to them and have since I first met them 10 years ago.

4. Hardy ft. Lainey Wilson – Wait In The Truck

THIS IS A SONG. Seriously. It’s incredible. Every time I play this song I’m just as invested in it as I was the first time I heard it. The songwriting is next level. It takes you on a journey, tells a woman truth about an abusive man and the melody allows the story to be heard! Hardy knows how to write a country song and Lainey, well, her voice is divine.

5. Jordan Davis – Next Thing You Know

Isn’t this a song about life? The little treasures that we get along the way. We all have our own path and own journey, but these lyrics are incredibly relatable. Talks about falling in love, getting married and becoming a parent. It reminds me of my beautiful parents and their journey with love. I’m also a sucker for pedal steel and the intro opens with it.
