'Four Boots' is out now!
Four Boots is the latest single to be lifted from award-winning country artist and entertainer, Hayley Jensen's ARIA #1 Country Album Breakin’ Hearts, released in October 2022.
Four Boots was co-written with high profile Canadian country acts Dan Davidson (with whom Hayley featured on the chart-topping duet Really Shouldn't Drink Around You) and Clayton Bellamy (of Canadian country rock group, The Road Hammers) who also features as guest vocalist on this country-rock banger.
Hayley says, "Four Boots was written about one of those nights when you’re out with your friends after a breakup. You just want to have fun and enjoy yourself, you're not looking to hook up or find someone new, just to have a good time. Then out of the blue, someone catches your eye and they’re all you can think about… Your best-laid plans change, and somewhere between hello and good morning, you wake up with an extra pair of boots at the end of your bed!"
The music video, which today premieres online exclusively on Countrytown, was produced by Jay Seeney of Blacklist Productions, with many of Hayley and Clayton’s parts of the video filmed simultaneously across the same weekend at music festivals in both Australia and Canada!
Almost two decades in the making, Hayley’s career is at an all-time high. In the last 12 months, Hayley earned an ARIA #1 Country Album with Breakin’ Hearts and a nomination for ‘Female Artist of the Year’ at the 2022 Golden Guitar Awards. To celebrate, she will be hitting the road to mark 18 years since shooting to fame on the 2nd series of Australian Idol, performing fan favourites and hits from across her 4 studio albums.
