More Will Day More Will Day

Brisbane-based singer-songwriter, Will Day released his kicking, country rock single Bro's earlier this month – now comes the accompanying music video which we bring to you in this exclusive premiere.

Featuring Troy Kemp and Col Finley, Bro’s tells the story of having good times with mates and sticking together no matter what. Co-written by Will and Col, Bro’s is our Song of the Day!

Will says, “It was wonderful to work with my good mates Col Finley (co-writer) and Troy Kemp on this track. As well as being a really fun and rockin’ song, it’s a result of true mate ship. I love how country music brings us together like this.”

Bro’s is the fifth single from Will’s debut album Countrified. Released in July 2021, the album includes a perfect combination of Will’s trademark up-tempo, high energy country rock tracks, as well as emotive and heartfelt ballads. The break-up ballad Simple Then with Brooke Schubert, from the album, peaked at #5 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart.

In further news, Checked Label Services/Kobalt Music Publishing have signed Will for global representation. This worldwide agreement covers all of Day’s releases and co-writes.

Growing up in the small rural town of Goondiwindi, Will grew up listening to some of the great musical influences of our time on family road trips where his parents would play the likes of James Taylor, The Eagles, Paul Kelly and Cat Stevens. His first public performance was in a local talent quest at 14 years old. Later discovering artists like Keith Urban, Alan Jackson and Garth Brooks led to Will releasing his five-track, self-titled debut EP in 2016.
