Artist Of The Week: The McClymonts

CountryTown in partnership with iHeartCountry Australia is proud to announce country music trio, The McClymonts as our Artist Of The Week, following a massive month for the sister trio.

Brooke, Samantha and Mollie McClymont, originally from Grafton in New South Wales, took home the win for Country Music Capital News Group or Duo of the Year and Contemporary Country Album of the Year at the 49th Tamworth Golden Guitar Awards in January.

Their sixth studio album Mayhem to Madness debuted at #3 on the ARIA Album Chart and was recently announced as the second highest selling Australian country album for 2020, just behind Keith Urban’s The Speed of Now Part 1. The album also received a nomination for the 2020 ARIA Award for Best Country Album, missing out to Fanny Lumsden‘s third album, Fallow.

“In the world of social media, we think we have to be perfect with the way we look, act and what we say. In reality, it’s our imperfections that make us beautiful and accepting someone else’s flaws makes for the best relationship,” The McClymonts explain about their latest single, Looking for Perfect.
