All jamborees must come to an end, and so it is for Woody Campfire's Songwriter’s Bonfire. Over the year, a dazzling array of special guest have joined Woody on campchairs, around his fake-but-convincing indoor campfire, to pull apart the fine art of songwriting.
If you’ve been to one, you’ll know - this has been an incredibly special series of shows. But with Woody’s album “Woody Campfire And His Thing For Country Boys” in the final stages of mixing, it’s time to shake up the way he gigs. He’s got big plans and new gigs to cook up - but first, one last hurrah!
This Thursday’s show will also double as a kinda coming home party for Woody’s three week busking tour of the east coast. It was a huge adventure, taking in street shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Wagga Wagga, Gundagai and everywhere else inbetween. His recordings from the road are rolling out on his social media now, so look him up wherever you watch reel-shaped things.
